What is an undercounter appliance?
Perfect for smaller kitchens with limited worktop space, undercounter appliances are shorter than their taller counterparts. Easily slotted underneath your existing worktops, you can make the most out of limited floor space.
What's the difference between frost free, automatic defrost and manual defrost?
Refrigeration appliances can come with a vast range of features, but frost free, automatic defrost and manual defrost are one of the most important to consider. Not only does a build up of ice minimise space, it can also lead to higher energy consumption.
Frost free, or no frost, means that the freezer section uses dynamic cooling systems to prevent ice build up. Automatic defrost usually refers to the fridge compartment, removing ice on the back wall periodically. Finally, manual defrost means you will have to remove ice from the walls regularly.
How long should a refrigeration appliance last?
How long your appliance lasts can depend on the manufacturer, but also how well it is maintained. As a general rule, you can expect your refrigeration appliance to last from 9 to 13 years.
